NOW OR NEVER

Do it today,
You devise, to do tomorrow;
Do it now,
You devise, to do today;
In a single second,
Whole of the world, may get destroyed;
To do it again,
No chance, and no time may be left;
Our lethargy, our laziness,
Are our, worst and virtuous enemies;
We skip, we postpone,
Not the work, but the time;
And, the time once lost,
Can never be, regained and repaired;
If we can finish,
Hundreds of assignments, today itself;
Be sure that,
Thousands more, are sure to come;
When all of them,
Will all together, get combined and multiplied;
Then, they are certainly,
To bestow us, manifold and magnificent outcomes;
In case, contrary to it,
We are flung, farthest behind, of all others;
Delaying, is a demon,
And skipping, is ravage and rowdy monster;
Like a voracious glutton,
Eats out, all our strength and stamina;
Slowly but steadily,
Consumes and crumbles down, our spirit;
In stride of time,
Mercilessly, we are left lame, and limping.
Such devil habits,
Sooner, we should forget and forsake;
Make the pledge, and vow a promise,
To do the things, at hour’s demand;
Without a bit, miss or delay,
Be prompted to action, at hour’s command.
In the fast and flowing world,
In the crudest reality and golden nightmare;
Closely and confidently adhere,
With the time tested doctrine of, now or never.
