“Present education system has been able to create successfull and cultured citizen in the country

The people may say that going in the school, attending coaching centers or getting tutor at home is education. Education is something which makes us man out of animal. We are entitled to be called civilized and developed race of the planet. We not only get education in the so called formal institutions and the hub of educational centers but the life moving around ourselves too are the richest source of education. The raw mind gets ripened out of education that enables us to live the over laden life smoothly and successfully. It’s merely education that has resulted human race into present age of machine and technology from primitive nomadic state.

But the big question whether present education system has really created cultured and successful citizen poses a big challenge in front of us. We have to analyze in the mirror of the education system of our ancestors and forefathers. If we agree with the topic we have to concede that the conventional education has no power create successful citizen. I favor the idea that every education system is the result of the time and life in it. From the early stage of human life , there has been different mode of education, and in the process of development it went on getting accustomed with the changed scenario. Every time there has been people who remained stick to the bygone habits and the people hugging the changes. Its really noticeable that ‘ change is the law of nature, there is no beauty without change’. We could not have hoped the use of computer and mobile, aeroplanes and sophisticated machines from the primitive uncivilized men, but we must agree that what we are today is the result of our forefathers inventions and discoveries. Today searching of the newer planet seems sensational but in those days , the invention of fire, wheel and pots were not less sensational. They have been the backbone of all today’s development. What newer things we are developing today will become of secondary importance after centuries ahead. The invention of fire would have really dazzled the nomadic people. They would have got burning spot to their bodies but later they utilized the same for their advancement in sphere of human life like making the sharp weapon for hunting, to save them from wild beasts, to cook the food etc.

The invention of the wheel lessened the burden of the back of the man. The animals were being used to carry the goods from one place to another. The society started assuming form. And the race of development quickened. The fire and the wheel is the reason why we are making synthetic materials today.

How can we say that only the present generation citizens are to be called successful?  Was chanakya and Chandra gupta no successful? Was ashoka , the great a failure? Was napoleon and Alexander, the great only the puppet? Was mihirsen, aryabhatta, sushrut of no importance.

Its foolish to say that only present generation education system has potential to inculcate the cultural values.

Think about Mahatam Budha and Mahabira Swami, they taught the morals to the world.

There is only one thing to say in this regard that every education system has limitation of the age and circumstances , but it has its importance at least in the associated era. It may be replaced by the newer ideas and concepts, but it can never lose its worth.

Universal brotherhood is more valuable than patriotism

Against the motion

Honorable judges, jury members, teachers and my dear friends, today I am here to express my views against the most debated topic ‘universal brotherhood is more valuable than patriotism.

It’s not merely for speaking sake but in reality I do firmly believe and support my side and I feel really very sorry how my worthy opponent stands in favor to glorify the importance of universal brotherhood. As I think it’s a nominal false pretention to protect the side somehow. If it’s not like that, then can I get an answer?, ‘ If there is fire in the village and his/her house too is on ablaze, whose house will he save first’ as I believe that the answer will be ‘ own house’. Another situation I would like put in front of him/her, if the team won any trophy, and his/her brother was one of the team member, whether he/she will celebrate the victory of team of her brother, certainly the victory of her brother will be more important than the victory of the team.

Under the light of these references I merely intend to emphasize that in theory whatever may be, but in practical life, an individual is above all sorts of universal convictions and false promises.

Just think, how can a hungry man fulfill the stomach of another one? How can a man donate the needy persons lavishly if his own bank account goes nil. I would like to entreat my worthy opponent to go and ask a beggar on the footpath ‘what does universalism mean?, for him two times meal is more important than any concept or ideology. There is another big hindrance in the path of universal brotherhood. Can a man fiercely entangled in the personal problems solve others problems? I say never. I firmly contradict the idea of creating the beautiful platform of universal brotherhood where every human being will be treated equally like brothers. I do believe it’s merely mirage in the deserts never going to be fulfilled. I think patriotism is not merely a reverence to the nation but it’s religion, it’s culture and moreover it’s above all goals of livings.

My worthy opponent claims to bring equality and fraternity in human race through universal approach and ideology while he/himself might be well aware of the fact that it’s never possible as ‘difference lies in the very nature of man’. There is large scale differences among human race in color, climate, lifestyle, belief, caste and creed. These reasons had been the factors of conflict between different communities. The European countries captured the other countries and tortured brutally their original people and squeezed its natural resources. They consider themselves more civilized species of earth. In that case it’s nightmare to think about universal brotherhood.

It’s not the first time in human history to think about universalism. The great souls like Lord Christ in Europe, jarthustra in West Asia, Confusiaus in China and Gautam Budh , Mahabir Swami in South Asia propagated the idea of love to human beings but today there sermons and preachings are lied buried in the books or in the temples only. Communal riots. Long list of conversion, by avarice, trick or by force. They cry the slogan of one god and all sons, but the same has bifurcated and are fanatic and orthodox of their own belief. Even in the modern world of science and technology the superstitions prevails strongly.

 India too had extended hands of brotherhood with China in the year 1962 with slogan ‘Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai’ but in return how China responded, we all know very well, the attack on the poorly equipped souldiers in the regime of Pt Neharu. We also know what Atal Bihari Bajpai got in return after his visit to Pakistan in 1999, the Kargil War.

It’s not problem of India or its neighbouring nations, there is hardly any country which is not having the boundary issues.  The long running conflict between Isarael with philistine is widely known. Every country has some lasting challenges in its domain like naxalism, moaist, minority , racism, regionalism, language and many more internal issues. As long as these issues are not solved our effort to universal brotherhood will be in vain.

I grieve at the idea of universal brotherhood when I see the strong hold and dominance of a few so called developed countries over the world organizations like UNO, IMF, UNICEF,UNESCO and many more. Although these organizations are constituted with notion to benefit all human beings but they are headed and governed by the powerful developed countries like USA, Britain and others. The world’s second highly populated country India could not secure a permanent seat at UNO till now. The dictatorship of the lead nations we have seen everywhere. For their own benefit, they twist the rules and execute accordingly. They have their covetous eves over oil store in west Asian countries, and to tighten the hold on these countries, either they are attacking by themselves on false accusations or promoting internal conflicts to weaken them. Today almost all the developed countries devise to have strong hold over world economy, they have the hawk eye for being the leader in the world market by hook or by crook. The developing countries have to be sufferer in it.

If there is equality all around the world then I surprise to say why are there so many disparities  among currencies of different nations like dollar, rupee, euro, yuan, dinar and so on. The attack over Indians in major countries like Australia and America and step motherly temperament of so called developed countries exemplify their hidden notions.

       Another thing that is striking my mind is that if one stabs another man right in the belly through the dagger and later says that, let’s forget our enmity and be noble friends, can the wounded fellow extend the hand in friendship?,  I say ‘never’.  Can Japaneese forget the Hiroshima and Nagashaki event, Can the world’s notorious dictators like Hitler , Napolean and Mousolini and Bismarked be excused, I say ‘No’. Can Russia ever be friend of America, can World forget what Germans did in world war. Or can Germans ever forget what injustice so called countries in League of Nations did. Though the wars are over today, but the pots are boiling everywhere.

 I mean to say ‘It’s act of not any single country but cooperation of every nation, and that is as I believe never practicable.

       Moreover, If patriotism values nothing then What is use of celebrating independence day and republic day with pomp and show. Throw away the false crying over the slogans of JAY HIND, DILLI CHALO, TUM MUJHE KHOON DO MAI TUJHE AAZADI DOONGA so and so. Forget Bhagat Singh , Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose.

       In this regard I think to quote the lines of famous American poet Mark Twain that ‘East is East and west is west, and never twain can meet together.’

विश्वास के साथ खिलवाड़

मेरे घर के द्वार पर औरतो का जमघट, जैसे कई मधुमखियाँ पुष्प का रस इकठ्ठा करने की होड में लगी हो | वैसे भी औरतो का जमघट कुछ बिशेष अवसर पर ही होता है , बेचारियो कों घर के काम से फुरसत मिले तो न , ऊपर से पति जी का रुआब, सासूजी का डंडा, ससुर जी का फरमान कम थोड़ी होता है |

‘अरे गुरूजी कों ठीक से बैठने तो दो’ मेरी माँ ने कहा , लगता है तुम बाबाजी के सर पे बैठ जाओगे ‘

साधुजी अपने  एक चेले के साथ मेरे गांव पधारे और उनकी डमरू की दैवीय ध्वनि से गांव के समस्त नारी समूह इकट्ठा हो गया| लगभग ४० घरों की पूरी बस्ती जो डेढ़ किलोमीटर के दायरे में फैला हुआ है | शायद किसी और अवसर पर औरतो की इतनी भीड़ जुटे , पर आज तो येसा लगा जैसे इन्द्र सिंहासन की बोली लगने वाली है|

मेरी माँ बहुत सादर और सम्मान के साथ चारपाई बिछाई और साधुजी कों बैठाया जैसे वो साधू नहीं खुद ब्रह्मा हो|

मेरी माँ धर्मभीरू और विश्वासी प्रकृति की है जो तथाकथित शगुन और अपसगुन पर पूर्ण विश्वास रखती थी, उन्हें साधू बचन और ओझा मन्त्र कुछ जादा ही पसंद था और कभी – कभी हमारे तार्किक सोच की बात लगा देती थी|

मै साधुजी के चेले के साथ लगभग २०० मीटर दूर , अमरुद के पेड़ के नीचे बैठ गया और चेले से हल्के मन से बातचीत शुरू की|

शुरू हुआ बाबाजी का जादू और करिश्मा ,पीट वस्त्र ,लंबी दाढ़ी, गले और हाथ में माला था कमंडल, बगल में एक जादुई थैला |

‘बाबा मेरा हाथ देख लीजिए , एक औरत बोली | मुझे भूख नहीं लगती , गाय मर गयी, खेत सूख गया , पति की कमाई नहीं हो पा रही है , बेटा कुछ उखडा सा रहता है , इस साल हमारे घर में बीमारी ने घर जमा लिया |

बाबा ने हाथ देखा और बोला ‘पुत्री! तुम्हारे ऊपर शनि देव का प्रकोप है , ग्रह स्थिति खराब है, पेड़वा दैत का शाया है|’

औरत बोली , ‘बाबाजी ! कब तक येसा रहेगा , कुछ उपाय बताइए |’

बाबा ने हाथ कों तेजी से झटका , आंखे मूदी, सर दो झकझोरा , जैसे बाबाजी कों मिरगी की बीमारी हो , और कभी-कभी  झटका आता हो , कुछ बडबडाया और उचक कर बोले , “ तुम्हे प्रतिदिन सूर्योदय के समय पीपल पर पानी डालना पड़ेगा लगातार तीन सप्ताह , पांच व्रत रखने होगे , एक बार वैष्णवदेवी का दर्शन करना होगा , लगातार दश मंगलवार ब्राहमण कों कों भोजन कराना होगा , तभी तुम्हारे जीवन में सुख समृधि आ सकेगी’|

बाबाजी के उपाय कों पूरी तनमयता से औरत सुनती रही , पर शायद ही वह इतने अनुष्ठानो कों याद रख पाए |

पर छोडिये , आपको आगे का दृश्य दिखाता हूँ,

औरत सहमे हाथो से बाबा जी का पैर छुआ और चढावा देके चुपचाप चल दी , जैसे की पिछली मुसीबत से बढ़कर कोई बड़ी मुसीबत मिल गयी हो|

हम चेले के साथ हल्के बातचीत करते रहे , थोड़े दूरी से पर स्पष्ट रूप से पूरा नजारा देखते रहे |

‘तुम लोग हटो , मुझे भी कुछ पूछना है बाबाजी से, मेरी माँ बोली |

माँ ने घर के बारे में पूछा , घर के और सदस्यों के बारे में पूछा , फिर मै घर का सबसे छोटा , पर नटखट नहीं , सबसे दुलारा , तीन बड़े भाई और एक बड़ी बहन , तो भला हमारे विषय मै पूछना कैसे छूट सकता था |

पूछने की संभावना और भी बढ़ जाती है , जबकी मेरी माँ रुढिवादी  परम्पराओं , दैवीय प्रकोप ,भूत चुड़ैल , साधू – ओझा जैसी चीजों पर पूरा विश्वास रखती हो| इस बात का जब कभी हम तर्क – कुतर्क करते तो , अच्छी खासी डाट पडती | दो अच्छर पढ़ क्या लिए की ज़माने से आ रही मान्यताओ का इनकार करने लगे जैसे की हमारे पूर्वज बिलकुल पागल थे | आखिर माँ है , इसलिए हम चुप हो जाया करते |

माँ ने साधुजी से विनयपूर्वक पूछा , ‘ मेरे बेटे के विषय में बताइए गुरूजी , उसे नौकरी मिलेगी की नहीं|’

साधुजी आत्मविश्वास से सराबोर , अपनी जादू की छड़ी हवा में लहराई , सर कों झनझनाया और दमदार आवाज में बोले , ‘ नौकरी का संयोग तो था पर , लड़का आठवी की पढ़ाई कर छोड़ दिया , इसलिए कोई सरकारी नौकरी नहीं मिल सकती|’

मेरी माँ ने एकाएक मेरी तरह असहाय निगाह से देखा और मैंने इशारा किया और पूछो |

माँ ने लड़खड़ाते स्वर में बोला , ‘ लड़के के शादी के विषय में कुछ बताइए गुरूजी |’

जहा तक मुझे मालूम था की किसी साधू से हाथ दिखाना और कुछ पूछने में सर्व प्रिय विषय शादी ही होता है |

साधुजी कों अपनी प्रखर ज्ञान पर अटूट विश्वास था और शायद इस बात का उन्हे घमंड भी था की वह किसी के जीवन के विषय में वे उस सम्बंधित व्यक्ति से ज्यादा जानते है |

अपने चिरपरिचित अंदाज में उन्होंने कहा , ‘एक पत्नी है और एक बच्चा , पत्नी गर्भवती है , पूरे तीन बच्चे का संयोग है , इस समय पत्नी मायके में है|’

बाबा जी का हर शब्द जैसे मेरी माँ के मस्तिष्क कों झकझोर रहा हो ,कभी बाबा कों देखती और कभी मुझे , और मै सब सुन कर अनसुना करता रहा  जैसे की यह नाटक मैंने पहले देख रखी हो , आसपास खादी पड़ोस की औरते भी आश्चर्य से बिलकुल हक्का बक्का | पर साधुजी तो अपनी सफलता के धुन में मस्त , पर चेले के मन में स्थिति के प्रति आशंका |

मेरी माँ जैसी किसी पिजड़े से शेर कों छोड़ दिया जाय , वैसे कड़ी आवाज में बोली ,’ साधुजी आप क्या बोले जा रहे है , आप क्या कह रहे हो|’

फिर क्या, बाबा येसी अप्रत्याशित आवाज कों सुन के एकाएक अपनी आँखे खोली और बदले हुए चेहेरे तथा माहौल कों बिलकुल महसूस किया | उनके आँखों में आत्मविश्वास की चमक जाती रही , चारो तरफ नजर घुमाया , चेले कों देखा , चेला भी कुछ आशंकित , पर दोनों कों कों कुछ पता नहीं की समस्या कहाँ है , बिलकुल किन्कर्ताव्यविमूध|

साधुजी ने मेरी माँ से दबे स्वर में कहा , ‘क्या हुआ पुत्री ?’

माँ ने झगडते हुए बोला , ‘ आप साधू हो , आप कों नहीं मालूम क्या अनाब- सनाब बोले जा रहे हो , मेरा बेटा कक्षा आठ तक पढ़ के छोड़ दिया , एक पत्नी और एक बच्चा , पत्नी गर्भवती , पूरे तीन बच्चे का संयोग ,और क्या बोला की सरकारी नौकरी नहीं मिलेगी |

अब कौन रोक सकता था मेरी माँ कों अगर एक बार बरसना शुरू हो गयी , और उधर कभी साधू शिष्य कों देखता , शिष्य मुझे देखता , फिर शिष्य गुरु कों देखता| पास खादी औरते वस् तमाशा देख रही थी की अब क्या होने वाला है|

माँ ने कड़े स्वर में बोला , ‘मेरा बेटा अभी पढ़ रहा है , प्राथमिक विद्यालय में सरकारी टीचर है , शादी अभी हुयी नहीं , बच्चे तो बहुत दूर की बात और तुम क्या कह रहे हो उल्टा सीधा |

इतने कहते ही साधुजी की रही सही हिम्मत और मान ढहने लगा और सिहरते हुए बोले , ‘देखिये कभी-कभी गलती हो जाती है , मै फिर से देखता हू और तुरंत उन्होंने अपने जादू के थैले से कोई चिथड किताब निकाली  और चश्मा लगा के किताब में बिलकुल घुस सा गए जैसे कई किताब पढाने की आड़ में अपना चेहरा छुपाने का प्रयास कर रहे है  और कुछ देर बाद कुछ लार्बराते और लड़खड़ाते आवाज में बोलने का प्रयास किये पर तब तक देर हो चुकी थी , और उनकीआँखों में अपराध बोध स्पष्ट झलक रहा था |

मेरी माँ ने तुरंत लताडते हुए बोला , ‘आपकी भलाई इसी में है के आप अभी उठे और चल दे चुपचाप|’

साधुजी कों येसा करना उचित था और वैसे किये भी | अपना कमंडल छड़ी तथा थैला उठाये चल पड़े |

पर किसी कों मालूम नहीं की ये सब कैसे हो गया | न तो साधू कों , न तो इकठ्ठा हुयी औरतो कों और न ही मेरी माँ कों ही | अगर मालूम था तो सिर्फ दो लोगो कों – मुझे और शिष्य कों |

आइये बताता हू कैसे |

शिष्य मुझसे अनमने स्वर में बोला , ‘ आपको येसे नहीं करना चाहिये था |’

‘मैंने क्या किया, मंद स्वर में मैंने बोला|

शिष्य थोडा तगड़े स्वर में बोला , ‘आपने झूठ क्यों बोला?’

मै आत्म विश्वास के साथ उत्तर दिया , ‘ मैंने जानबूझकर झूठ बोला’

शिष्य ने फिर कहा , ‘ क्यों?’

मैंने कहा , ‘मेरे झूठ बोलने से क्या फर्क पड़ता है , अगर आप वास्तव में स्थिति प्रज्ञा है यो झूठ कों पकडिये और सही चीज बताईए |’

जब तक की शिष्य मुझसे बाते करता रहा , गुरूजी सर झुकाए , मन मंथन करते काफी आगे निकल गए , और फिर शिष्य भी तेजी से चलकर उनके पीछे लग गए | दोनों के मन में भारी अवशाद , शायद सुबह उठाते समय उन्होंने ये कल्पना भी नहीं की होगी की कुछ येसे होने वाला था |

हुआ यूं कि मै थोड़ा दूरी पर अमरूद के पेड़ के नीचे शिष्य के साथ हल्के मन से बाते कर रहा था|

तभी शिष्य ने मेरे विषय में कुछ पूछना शुरू किया , पता नहीं क्यों मेरे मन में शरारत या शंका वश कुछ अजीब सा प्रयोग करने की सोची , मेरे मन की शंका उस समय और बढ़ गयी जब शिष्य मेरे विषय में कुछ पूछता फिर अपनी भाषा में गुरूजी से कुछ बात करता , वही मैंने निश्चय किया कि देखता हू क्या होता है और जो भी उसने मेरे विषय में पूछा सब उलटा या गलत बताया , फिर क्या --------परिणाम आपके सामने था |

पर क्या मै ईशवरीय शक्ति में विश्वास नहीं करता हूँ ,मुझे मालूम नहीं , करता भी हूँ और नहीं भी |

The Real Mockery

The village women hung around my house. They heard magical rhythm of ‘Damaru’. It was easily audible to every corner of the village located in 1.5 km circumference. On arrival of sadhus , the news spreads faster than the wildfire among the women. Truly speaking, I couldn’t understand the reason till today, why these agents of miracle hypnotize the women more than the men. Sadhuji associated by his one pupil thought my house better to start his charm.

Oh! You want to sit on sadhuji’s head, said my mother to one woman. Sadhuji with his long grey beard , about late 60’s, serpentine turban on head, rosary beads in hand and around neck, kamandal to his side, and yellow dhoti kurta and importantly robust moustache, and a magical bag beside him, sat comfortably on the charpai brought by my younger sister-in-law. The crowd of women seemed to strangle him from all side as in black hole event in Kolkata. His chela sat with me on chair around 8 meter away from his guruji. I had light mood discussion with chela sitting under guavava tree.

Let me ask about me, one said to another. Let ask about my son, another said. I had misfortune whole of this year. My husband could not earn, my son failed, my daughter could not be married, my cattle died , the crops ruined, the ornament lost as if baba is panacea. Say it superstition or compulsion, but it seemed as if Lord shiva had incarnated to relieve every pain of the people. From newly wedded brides to the shivering aged women assembled with a ray of hope in their eyes.

I had heard lots about these stories, but the first time I destined to encounter the moment face to face.

The women kissing the Baba’s feet in immense adulation , baba chanting inaudible mantras, confidently backing up said, “ The anger of shanidev, the wrong movement of planets, infavourable stars, and the un expected blunder has brought mishap, but very soon ,the situation is likely to change, go and water the peepal continually four weeks, and visit Vaisno mata once, your all the difficulties will ease down.” It seemed as if the baba had crammed all vedas, puranas and upanishidas and spilled out all in seconds. I thought that the woman could had never imagined all the sufferings which baba counted in no time. How did he know it all? How could he make all the women believe? Why did the mantra not work over men? The main question in my mind was , ‘ if baba has such extraordinary power to read the situation and from earth to other planet and can predict, remedise , then why he did not do it on himself and to his disciple? Why did he need to wander all around ?

The women being highly obliged to guide again kissed baba’s feet and gave offering with a silly grin not able to offer the huge one, and promised it for next visit.

My mother was skeptical and believed in all these fortune tellers and their magic. She called me to show my hand to baba but I as rational fellow said, ‘say baba to tell my fortune without seeing hands.

Out of curiousness , my mother entreated babaji to tell about me.

Baba swirled his head in the air and whispered and muttered the mantras as if he would have got electric shock and have gone in comma.

‘Could he be able to get any job?’ asked my mother.

‘Can’t, as he abandoned the study after eight sdandard.’

My mother got perplexed, but I blinked at her only to listen.

Please baba , tell about his marriage, requested my mother.

As he has married three years before, one son, and wife pregnant, there is match of total three children.

It added my mother’s amazement, sometimes she looks back, again to baba, but baba lost in his world, overconfident of his telling.

My mother could not resist, she aggressively asked baba, ‘’ Do you know what you are telling?”

Baba’s mind trembled to see the unbelievable look of my mother. The woman who was calling me, “you are god, great, soul and above all you are Brahma svarup, looks quite changed.

Baba speculated the fault and gave a quick and gazing glance to his pupil and the pupil deflected the same stare at me.

Now the atmosphere of baba adoration seemed baffled. My mother and other crowded women got perplexed with what had happened. Stare and stare and stare to each other for long but no conclusion.

No could estimate where from the complicacy arose.

My mother slammed harsh word upon baba saying , “ You know what you have said, my son is married and one son, wife pregnant, wife at her father’s home, and one more expected. And he has left study and can’t get job. He is pursuing his B. Ed nowadays and serving as a teacher in state primary school, and still he is unmarried.”

Baba felt ashamed , the face looked over pale. He searched for his lingering magical bag uncomfortably.

Apologizingly he said , “ Some times such mistakes occur, I will correct it seeing my book.”

He tried hard to pacify the situation but it was quite late. He stood up haphazardly and hurried fast.

‘You should not tell a lie, said the pupil.

‘I told a lie knowingly, I said to the pupil.

‘Why?, asked the pupil dejectedly.

‘I wanted know the reality, I said gravely

What reality? He asked.

If you have really knowledge, you can catch my lie too. I said in confident.

On his wit’s end, and when nothing left to save them, both of them went away to their way gloomily.

Sitting under the tree with pupil I started light discussion. When he started asking about my study and other detail, it shook and alerted my mind. The idea of experimentation randomly arose. On every query of the pupil I gave false detail. Between my conversations to the pupil, on every detail, he often talked to his guruji in different language, we could not understand. That added my suspicion and I determined to experiment as I was sure on my mother to ask guruji about me.

That very incident does not make my atheist. I believe in the omnipresent power, again I don’t believe.

सभी बच्चे आम के बाग में खेल रहे है, खेल क्या रहे है बीसों आम के पेड़ पर लदे लाखो आमो में कुछ कच्चे और कुछ पक्के , और करीब तीस बच्चो का जमघट , एक आम क्या गिरा , पका या कच्चा पर सारे बच्चे टूट पड़े,जिसे मिला वह अपने को बड़ा तीसमार समझता है, सबके सामने खाता भी नहीं कही कोई छीन न ले, शैतान और बड़े बच्चो के डर का भूत सवार , धीरे से कही अपने अन्तः वस्त्र में छिपा लेता है, उससे छोटे बच्चे के जीभ से लालच की लार टपक रही है, फिर सभी अपने खेल में मस्त|

ये क्या हवा तेज हो रही है,दूर से धुल भी उड़ रहे है, आम के पेड़ झूमने लगे हवा के साथ, एक आम , चार आम , अरे हर जगह आम ही आम| अब आम कहा रखू, यहाँ रखा गिर गया वहा रखा गिर गया, आज तो किस्मत ही खुल गयी , जिसका कभी आम पाने का मौका नहीं आता था, आज तो उसके सरे थैले भर गए|

पर और सारे बच्चे कहाँ गए , कोई दिख क्यों नहीं रहा है, इतनी तेज हवा , इतना धुल, पूरा बाल और शरीर धूल धूसित , सभी घर चले गए लगता है, मै अकेला रह गया ,मै किधर जाऊ , कुछ तो दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है , देखने का प्रयास करता आँख में धूल भर जाती, बिलकुल असहाय , बेबश ,आम कि कहाँ चिंता रही , पता नहीं गिर गए , आँख में आंसू , सिसकियाँ ,व्याकुलता , घबडाहट |

चलने की सोचता भी हवा तेज ,जैसे गिरा देती,आखिर तूफानी हवा और मुश्किल से तीस पैतीस का वजन , पहली बार लगा के हवा में इतनी ताकत होती है|

अरे तू यहाँ , मै तुझे खोज रहा था , आवाज जानी पहचानी , कुछ राहत मिली | अपनी बाहों को मेरे चारो तरफ करके जैसे के कही भटक न जाये
लगभग एक किलोमीटर घर , बीच में कोई रूकावट नहीं , सपाट खेत कटे हुए ,जून जुलाई का माह , हवा चलने भी दे तो न| हम चल तो दिये पर पता नहीं किधर , इतनी धूल भरा अँधेरा कि दो मीटर दूर देखना मुश्किल, हवा कभी तेज होती कभी धीमी और फिर एकाएक तेज , बैठ जाते हमको अपनी गोद में लेकर कही इसे चोट न लग जाये , फिर जैसे ही हवा थोड़ी धीमी होती , मंद कदमो से आगे बढ़ते, फिर बैठते और चलते |

सिर्फ ये किलोमीटर घर , लगभग ये घंटे हो गए पर अभी नहीं पहुचे, घर पहुचेंगे भी नहीं , मालूम नहीं, जिस रस्ते से हम आया करते मात्र दस मिनट में , एक घंटे से ज्यादा ,

बैठ जा , धीरे से उठ, मुझे पकड़ के रख , आंखे मूद के रखना , चिंता मत कर , बस अभी पहुच जाते है, थोड़ी दूर और , मै हू तुम्हारे साथ , डरना मत , वो घर दिख रहा है|

पर मुझे तो कुछ नहीं दिखाई दे रहा था , मुझे बिश्वास है कि उन्हें भी कुछ दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था , वह तो मेरे मन को धैर्य देने के लिए येसा कः रहे थे|

तुम लोग इतना मन करने के बाद भी चले जाते हो , और तू उमेश इसको क्या साथ ले गया , मालूम नहीं की इतनी तेज आंधी चल रही , रास्ता नहीं दिख रहा है, अगर पेड़ कि कोई डाल ऊपर गिर जाती तो |

नहीं मौ , मै तो आज खुद ही चला गया था , अगर भैया न होते तो मै आ भी नहीं पाता|

घर पर तो मुझे बहुत सीधा और मेरे बड़े भाई को शैतान का पद मिला था, दोनों कभी साथ खेलते भी नहीं थे जबके वो मुझसे केवल दो साल बड़े थे |

पर साहस का येसा मिसाल सुना तो था कहानियो में पर देखा पहली बार|

यह प्यार और भी बलवान हो हो जाता है क्योकि आम समय में मुझे वास्तब में बहुत सताते थे पर वो दिन मै कभी नहीं भूल सकता ,शायद अक्षरों में वो ताकत नही के उस पल ये हर छोटे यहसास को बयां कर सके|

पर उस  समय में विवेक और शौर्य का उदहारण निश्चित रूप में उनकी प्रशंशा में सर झुक कर प्रणाम करता है|

आज वो हमारे बीच में नहीं है २४ साल  कि छोटी आयु में |

पर उनके यादो को अक्षरों में समेट कर नमन करना चाहता हू |
