मनुष्य भावनावों का पुंज है-पक्ष में

आदमी हाड मास का पुतला है और इस हाड मास से बहती है भावनावो का का अपार बेग, जिसमे है प्यार , डर और क्रोध| अरस्तू ने उचित ही कहा कि ‘मनुष्य एक सामाजिक प्राणी है|’ और निश्चित रूप से समाज का निर्माण और निरंतर विकास के पीछे मनुष्य के अंदर स्वाभाविक रूप से पाई जाने वाली भावनाये ही है|

और यह सबको विदित है कि बिचार तर्क और विश्लेषण की कसौटी पर तौल कर अपना रूप प्राप्त करता है| और सबको यह भी ज्ञात होगा कि तर्क हमेशा नीरस और आनंदहीन होता है दूसरी तरफ भावना मनुष्य का स्वाभाविक प्रवृति होती है जो बहुत कोमल, सरस,,आनंद दाई होती है|

अगर हम ये कहे कि मनुष्य की भावनाये ही समाज के विकास के प्रथम सोपान है जो एक व्यक्ति को दूसरे व्यक्ति के करीब लाने की प्रेरक शक्ति है| वही शुरू होता है समाज निर्माण की प्रक्रिया,,जिसे कहते विशाल और सभ्य मानव समाज|  समाज के विकास की मूल है मनुष्य की भावनाये |

हम एक परिवार का उदाहरण लेते है ,,परिवार में लोगो का एक दूसरे का लगाव भावनात्मक होता है,, यह भावनात्मक प्रेम माँ बेटे के बीच ,बहन भाई के बीच,पति पत्नी के बीच स्पष्ट रूप से देखा जा सकता है| माँ की लोरियाँ के मीठे बहाव में कैसे बच्चा नींद लेता है और माँ अद्भुत आनंद अनुभूति करती है| बच्चे की किलकारी पर माँ कैसे मन मुदित होती है| और जब बच्चा रोता है माँ का कलेजा तदपने लगता है,,,आखिर यह भावना नहीं तो क्या है| बेटे की शरारत और नटखट पर कैसे माँ क्रोधित होती है और जब बच्चा रोने लगता है तो वही माँ उसे दुलारने लगती है| शायद भावना नहीं होती है तो हम उसे एक परिवार का दर्जा कभी नहीं दे पाते| भावना है तभी परिवार है| और भावनात्मक लगाव के आभाव में परिवार में हमेशा टकराव और बिखराव के स्थिति बनी रहती|

हम अपनी हंसी खुसी तथा भावनाये केवल परिवार तक ही सीमित नहीं रखते वरन यह पूरी मानवता के रग रग में समाई हुई है| यही वजह जब पास पड़ोस में किसी खुसी का माहौल होता है तो उसकी खुसी हम भी बाटते है,,,और दुःख में भी उनके साथ रहते और यथा संभव मदद भी करते है|हाँ झगड़े भी होते है पर वह भी भावना ही है,,जो ईर्षा और नफ़रत से जुडी हुई है| जिससे हमें क्रोध आता है| यही नहीं जब जापान में सुनामी का कहर बरसता है,इसराइल में बम विस्फोट होता है, असम् में बाढ़ आती है और गुजरात में भूकंप तो क्या उनकी दयनीय दशा देख कर हमारे आँखे नाम नहीं हो जाती| हमें बिलकुल वैसा लगता है जैसे की वह मुसीबत क्खुद अपने ऊपर पडी हो|

कुछ लोग यह कह सकते है कि मनुष्य में भावनाये नहीं बल्कि बिचार और तर्क शक्ति होती है जिसके जरिये आज विकास की उचाईयों को छू रहा है पर वो शायद वो यह भूल जाते है कि बिचार हमारे अंदर मूल रूप से नहीं आते ,,,मूल रूप से वे कल्पना के परिष्कृत रूप होते है,,,और हमारी कल्पना हमारी स्वाभाविक भावनावो से प्रभावित होती है,,,जैसे प्रेम,,डर,,क्रोध इत्यादि| जिसकी भावनाये जितनी प्रबल होती है उसकी बिचार और तर्क शक्ति उतनी मजबूत होती है| इसका सीधा मतलब यही कि मनुष्य के विकास के पीछे मूल रूप से भावनाये ही उतरदायी है| और मनुष्य के द्वारा किये गए किसी भी विकास का उद्देश्य मानव कल्याण रहा है ,,जिससे मनुष्य एक सफल और सुगम्य जीवन बिता सके|

अगर आज हम वैश्विक धरातल पर देखे तो हमें ये पता चलेगा मनुष्य चाहे जिस भूभाग का हो ,,जिस जाति का हो,,जिस भाषा का हो.,जिस रंग का हो,,पर भावनाये सबमे एक सी है,,रोना हसना,,या क्रोध करना,,या फिर प्रेम करना,,शायद मानव प्रेम का ही जज्बा था जिससे ‘विश्व वन्धुत्व और वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम जैसे नारे लगाये गए| सयुंक्त राष्ट्र संघ में मानव अधिकारों की चर्चा की गयी| विश्व शांति के प्रयास किये गए और समय समय पर इसके लिए वैश्विक सम्मेलनों का आयोजन किया गया और अन्यान्य अन्तराष्ट्रीय संगठन बनाये गए| जिससे हर देश एक दूसरे देश को आपसी सहयोग और सद्भाव से यथा संभव मदद कर सके|

मै यह भी मानता हूँ कि मनुष्य का आधुनिक में प्रवेश और अनेको साहसिक कार्य जैसे अंतरिक्ष की यात्रा ,,समुद्र में गोताखोरी और विशाल पर्वतो की चढाई के पीछे उसकी प्रबल भावना का ही हाथ है क्योकि हे कार्य किसी भी पल जीवन जाने के खतरे से जुदा हुआ है और व्यक्ति सब से जादा मरने से डरता है,,पर मरने का उसके अंदर तर्क बनाता है जिससे वह मौत का खौफनाक मानसिक चित्र बनाता है फिर वह येसे दुरूह कार्य को तिलांजलि दे देता है पर भावना और तीब्र आवेग में किसी भी खतरे को सोचे बिना वह कार्य पर चलता जाता है| आत्म हत्या करना इसका ज्वलंत उदाहरण है,,,जो व्यक्ति विचार और तर्क से नहीं वरन भावना के प्रबल वाहव से करता है| और आज के विभिन्न देशो में हुए शोध से भी यह पता चलता है कि आधुनिक युग में मानक के आत्म हत्या की प्रवृति तेजी से बढ़ रही है|

हमारे धर्म ग्रंथो और वेदों में मानव जीवन के प्रत्याशित सौ साल की आयु को चार आश्रमो में बाटा गया जिसमे गृहश्त जीवन को सर्व श्रेष्ठ माना गया, क्योकि यह हमें पितृ ऋण से मुक्ति दिलाता है जिसका आशय है कि पुत्र उतपन्न कर समाज की निरंतरता बनाई रखी जाय| और गृहस्त आश्रम में हम सांसारिक जीवन जीते है जो हमारी भावनावो से प्रेरित होती है- जैसे लोभ, लालच,,ईर्षा,,प्रेम,,सहयोग,,भय,,हसना और रोना जैसी जीवन निर्वाह करते है|

कवियों ने भी भावना का खूब यश गया जैसे-

जो भरा नहीं है भावों से जिसमे बहती रसधार नहीं

ह्रदय नहीं वह पत्थर है ,जिसमे स्वदेश का प्यार नहीं|

क्या मीरा का कृष्ण के प्रति कोई भाव नकार सकता है जब वो कहती है कि ‘मेरो तो गिरिधर गोपाल दूसरों न कोई’ और कृष्ण का सुदामा के स्वागत में नंगे पांव व्याकुल हो होकर दौडाना और फिर आसुवों से बिवाई भरे पैर को धुलना नकार सकता है,,क्या यशोदा माँ का वात्सल्य प्रेम और गोपिकयों का दैवीय लगाव कोई भुला सकता है| यही नहीं सबरी का प्रभु श्रीराम को जूठे बेर खिलाना और भगवन राम का सप्रेम जूठे बेर खाना कोई भुला सकता है,, ऋषि बाल्मीकि और तुलसी दास जी का पत्नी प्रेम और फिर मोह भंग ,तदुपरांत प्रभु की भक्ति कोई भूला सकता है ,,कभी नहीं,,और इस सबके पीछे सिर्फ और सिर्फ प्रबल भावनाये ही है|

मनुष्य भावनावों का पुञ्ज है-विरोध में|

मनुष्य को समस्त प्राणियों में सर्व श्रेष्ट माना जाता है, इसकी वजह सिर्फ यह है कि उसके पास चमत्कारी चिंतन शक्ति है जिससे वह अपने अमूर्त बिचारों को कार्यरूप प्रदान करता है और पृथ्वी का सबसे समझदार होने का गौरव प्राप्त करता है| और वह मानव  की अद्भुत बिचार शक्ति ही है जिसके जरिये वह आधुनिक मानव कहलाने के काबिल हुआ| यही नहीं , वह अपने विचार वैभव के बल पर इश्वर के द्वारा रचे गए इस प्रकृति को अपने जीवन के अनुकूल और सुन्दर बनाया| अब उसे सूर्या की तेज धूप, तेज आंधी, विकराल ठंड नहीं डराते| अब उसे लाखों मील की यात्रा पैदल नहीं करनी पड़ती, अब उसे अंतरिक्ष और आकाशीय पिंड दैवीय नहीं लगते,और अब हमारी दुनिया पृथ्वी के किसी एक टुकड़े तक सीमित नहीं रह गया है| और सबसे गौरव की बात तो यह है कि दुनिया के हर कोने कोने का इंसान हमारा वास्तविक भाई और रिश्तेदार हो गए है| इन सबके पीछे केवल बिचारों की शक्ति का ही जदूओ है न कि भावनाओ का|

यह मनुष्य की विचार शक्ति ही है जिससे जीवन के सामाजिक , आर्थिक ,धार्मिक और तकनीकी क्षेत्र में आशातीत से कही जादा सफलता अर्जित की है| क्या यह किसी को लगता है कि यह सब भावनावों से संभव है ,,,मेरे बिचार से कभी नहीं| फिर यह कहना की मनुष्य भावनावों का पुंज है,,बिलकुल नागवार है|

हाँ मै मानता हूँ कि मनुष्य में भावनाये है पर वह भावनाओ का पुंज है,,बिलकुल मिथ्या है| यह सबको मालूम है कि विकास करना मनुष्य का स्वभाव है,,हाँ भावनाओं से मनुष्य विकाश तो नहीं कर सकता पर जनसँख्या जरूर बढ़ा सकता है ,,कहने के लिए समाज की निरंतरता | पर यहाँ तो केवल गिनती बढती है , गुण तो कही दिखता नहीं | और विकास तो गुण से ही संभव है | फिर यह मानना कि मनुष्य भावनावों का पुंज है मनुष्व के स्वाभाविक गुण विकाश को चुनौती करना है ,जो कभी संभव ही नहीं हो ,,विकाश की प्रक्रिया तो निरतर और सतत है | जब तक धरती पर मानवता रहेगी तब तक विकास का वेग चलता और चलता ही रहेगा|

अगर हम मनुष्य के विकास का इतिहास के पन्नों को पलते तो हमें खुद ब खुद ज्ञात हो जायेगा कि मनुष्य में भावनाये प्रबल है बिचार या फिर और कुछ| सुनहली धरती के गोंद में जबसे प्राणियों या मानवता का आगमन हुआ तब से या विकास की अनेको बुलंदियों को चूमता रहा है| पहिये और अग्नि का अविष्कार आज के सूचना क्रांति से भी कही जादा प्रेरक और महत्वपूर्ण रहे है| पाषाण युगीन और आदिम मनुष्य आज एयर कंडीशन बंगले और कार तक की यात्रा, टूटे फूटे नाव और घोडा गाडियों से तेज रफ्तार कार और हवाई जहाज तक का सफर और पत्थर के नुकीले और हंसिये से लेकर बलिस्टिक मिसाइल और नुक्लेअर हथियार तक सब विचारों के जादू है न कि भावनाओ के|

हमारे महानतम वैज्ञानिक , सर्वश्रेष्ट धर्म प्रणेता और समाज सुधारक , शिक्षा शास्त्री और विद्वानों ने अपने विचारों से न की भावनावो पूरी दुनियो को दिशा दी जिसके नाते आज हम मनुष्य कहने लायक बने है ,,

क्या भावनावो से एवरेस्ट पर चदना ,समुद्र के गोते लगाना, और अंतरिक्ष की खतरे भरे साहसिक कार्य संभव है ,,इसके लिए जरूरत होती है नियोजन, प्रशिक्षण और कार्य कुशलता की आवश्यकता होती है जो केवल प्रबल इच्छा शक्ति और अदम्य मनोदशा से ही संभव है|

सबसे महतवपूर्ण बात तो ये है कि आज हम एकाकी जीवन की तरफ बढ़ाते चले जा रहे है, जहा पर हमें दूसरे के सुख दुःख के विषय में सुनाने और समझने की फुरसत नहीं है ,,हम अपनी स्वार्थपरक और भागदौड की जिन्दगी में इतना व्यस्त और उलझे हुए है कि दूसरे क्या अपने परिवार के सदस्यों तक का हालचाल तक पूछने का मौका नहीं मिलता है,,,इसका कारण चाहे जो भी हो पर एक बात तो सत्य है कि यहाँ भावनाये नहीं वरन विचार प्रबल है| नहीं तो लालच और धूर्तता से कोई किसी की जान क्यों लेता और मनुष्य होकर मनुष्य का दुश्मन क्यों बना रहता ,,चाहे वह परिवआर , समाज और देश के अंदर या बाहर का क्यों न हो |मेरा या मानना है कि जहाँ भावना है वाहन दुशमनी नहीं है और जहा दुशमनी है तो वह भावना नहीं है|

मै एक बात तथ्य और भी जोडना चाहूँगा की जिस घर में किसी को जादा भावनात्मक प्रेम मिला वह जीवन में असफल रहा जब उसे अकेला जीवन जीना पड़ा, और आज की इस कश्म्कश्म दुनिया में भावना प्रधान व्यक्ति को बुधू और मूर्ख कहा जाता है जिसे कोई भी और कभी भी बेवकूफ बनाया जा सकता है और जिसका जीवन असंभव हो जाता है| फिर सभी जिए जा रहे है तो यह क्या है ,,यह भावना कभी नहीं हो सकता|

Man is a social animal and man is a living organism as well. Where there is life there will be emotions. It is the emotion that has brought one man to another man together and formed the society. It is emotion that differentiate us from non living organism. The man feels what other man suffers from. The best example of human’s emotions we can see from the mother fondling and milking her baby.

Can anybody tell me why we start shedding our valuable tears when someone dies in an accident .Don’t we show sympathy with handicapped and disabled persons begging alms.

What to say about real human relationships in day to day practical life, even in the sas bahu serials and heart rending films why do we become emotional. Why our eyes flood into tears. I firmly say it is nothing but emotion and emotion only.

Then question may arise in everyone’s mind that what really emotion is. Emotion is an expression or an idea or a situation where someone feels the same as other feels. Not merely mankind even all living organism have emotion of their own. They laugh, they weep, they sympathize and they boast.

Have we forgot emotions of bharat towards Ram, shabaree towards ram yaklavya towards dronacharya. They are all the unique examples which is highly regarded in our life.

Emotion is the foundation brick of all human and his social values. If we abandon all emotional aspect of life then need not to weep at death of someone and the farewell of brides at marriage. Why do we start liking or hating someone? Why does the memory of departed or separated sweet ones haunt long after their exit from the worldly scene? It is all due to emotional aspect of human life.

Life is impossible without emotions. There are innumerable emotions attached with human life. Even we can say that all human actions are guided by emotions. Love and hate is the part of universal dualism. Either we love or hate. They are also emotions. Love is god, love is life, and love is music and love is art as well. Nothing is above love according to the myths and modern thinkers. It is love that prompts a man to be friend of another man. That is first step of social structuralism.  That knits the framework of society.

Emotion is the predominant and integral part of poetry and we know poetry is life. Wordsworth defines poetry as “Poetry is the overflow of powerful feeling recollected in tranquility.”

When dropadi was being undressed, every one cried, when abhimanyu died everyone wailed. But why because it was overflowing of powerful emotions.

Desire, anger, sympathy, love, hate and friendliness are all the outburst of powerful emotions. Man is the most dominant, wise and powerful creature of the world. He is the store of marvelous and miraculous ideas that led to numerous inventions and discoveries. Emotions are pre-requisite of these ideas.  The emotions come naturally then we modify them into ideas that help in advancement of the society.

It’s the biggest blunder of human race to take himself as lifeless object beyond all emotions. This seems quite ridiculous if one takes the man having no emotions and no feelings. This is malicious and ignorant expression of self. Nothing can be more shameful as to consider human race in dearth of emotions. Its unbelievable and baseless. My worthy opponent may somehow try to protect his side but his inner self , I mean his conscience will itself be no accepting what his mouth is boasting of. For the sake of his side , he is manipulating the facts which he himself is aware of.

Someone has rightly affirmed that ‘imagination is pre-requisite of ideas, and ideas have made human race dominant over other races of the planet. This is idea and idea only that has proved our supremacy over other creatures of the planet. And it is well and widely known to everyone that ideas come after emotions and imaginations. So to say man having no emotions is merely mockery of self as well as whole of mankind.

Emotions make us as human or a living organism otherwise we are lifeless and inactive body. It is emotion that makes us feel like man. It is emotion that brings one man to another man together and that is the first pillar of the huge and magnificent building of social framework.

It is emotion that has inspired all branches of human knowledge and learning- may it be sociology, psychology, history, philosophy and science and religion. The man was shocked and surprised by the happening in his surrounding in early dawn of human civilization and started exploring deep with faith and devotion. That helped in advancement of human knowledge and learning.  Today we firmly believe that every branch of learning is the inspiration from nature and nature is much associated with emotional aspect of human life.

If we don’t have emotions why should we worship in temples, why should we be afraid of wrongs in life, why should we respect our elders, why should we follow the rules of the world why should we shed tears on death of someone and why should we sympathize with suffering fellows. It is because we are having immense store of emotions in the core of our hearts. That’s why we lament, we cry, we smile, we over joy and we break if some one or something hurts us.

Our emotions overflow when someone drowns, when someone burns, when someone bleeds in accident, when someone is  bitten by snake or when someone cries in various pains of the world. Why our hand moves automatically to help the person in urgent need.

The man without emotions is a stone, a lifeless object and everyone knows that lifeless object can not make the world go ahead. These mechanical instruments require wise and skills to be controlled and operated. That is possible only by human with emotions.

Without emotions we are robotic in nature that only knows how to perform the acts not why to perform the acts. This type of tendency brings catastrophe and large scale destructions.

Here I would like to remind our worthy opponents that whenever there was loss of emotions there was destruction and panic. The consecutive two world wars and innumerable battles gave nothing fruitful to the world. In guise to accomplish the hypothetical ambitions there had been huge destruction of human sweat and blood.

When ideas and emotions are placed together I confidently avouch that ideas mostly contribute in destructive tendency while emotions are constructive in nature.  Ideas are cruel and unkind whereas emotions are drowned deep in sympathy and mercy. Ideas bring the Hiroshima and nagsaki situation whereas emotions brings peaceful communication, contribution and conference like situation. Undoubtedly it is idea that has brought matchless discoveries and inventions in front of the world but we must not forget that the same ideas have generated nuclear and bio-chemical weapons that is able to destroy total humanity within minutes. But emotions teach us to love humanity whatever region or country anyone belongs. it is not due to caste and colour but it is due to bone and flesh. Every one is made of bone and flesh whatever country anyone belongs.

It is emotions and emotions only that has inspired in building the social framework. Emotions bring one person to another person together. Thus family generates and society so on. And then country and the world and humanity. We all well remember the famous saying of Aristotle that Man is the social animal, beyond society either he is god or beast. Neither we are beast nor god so because we are living in society and society is the culmination of emotions.

Whenever human beings abandon emotions and gave much emphasis to individual ideas than communal ideas they had to suffer unfathomable loss neverbefore. The examples of dictators like Hitler, mousolini and napoleon is the burning and unique examples.

Honourable jury members , teachers , dear students  today I am here to speak against the topic ‘Man is the bundle of emotions.’

Someone has factually has remarked that heart is deceiver and mind is receiver. Man is because he has fantabulous ideas and miraculous ideas. It is ideas not the emotions that have certified the supremacy of man over other fellow creatures of the planet. It is ideas that have brought incredulous discoveries and inventions. It is ideas that inspire and enable mankind incline towards innovative novel deeds.  The ideas make the current of life afresh and keeps moving on. That is the reason after ages of advent of human civilization the charm of living is still alive. There is hope and there is beauty.

We ever think but we rarely feel. Emotions are but they are temporary and transient in nature. They lack productivity and continuity. They lack force of life.

The man is surrounded by multiple ideas that help him to live life beautifully and successful as well in the hustling and bustling world. The man having no idea is called stupid and foolhardy and wicked. He gets no respect and no attention even from the family persons what to say about others in the society.

All the time man keeps on thinking and thinking either about his personal life or about family, society, profession, the country etc. he has no time to show emotions towards others. It is no exaggeration to say that in modern world of hurries and worries we don’t know what’s being cooked in neighbors’ kitchen. If someone dies in the neighborhood the news we get when we get the formal invitation final rituals. Not only this, we hurriedly pass through the road and see someone died in accident, but we have no time for showing emotions for the fellow. We take it granted that such cases occur regularly.  Just remember how we pass through crushing the lamed or disabled person sitting at pathways  and footpaths. We even cry slangs on these pathetic fellows.

Ideas have made the man to feel proud of his race. It is ideas that have led to climb the skyward mountains, to dive bottomless oceans and fly immeasurable spaces. Emotions beget fears and out of fear such adventurous tasks are impossible.

Ideas have brought man from primitive and nomadic stage to a civilized and cultured stage.  We have the mechanical facilities that makes the life go smooth and comfortable. Today we boast of high skyscrapers and magnificent buildings, today we boast on sophisticated transportation and info-technology. That is all possible from the grand ideas not frail emotions.

Just imagine what we would have been if we had seen emotions and emotions. Emotions make a man weak and a man nothing to do. Emotions are fantasy while ideas are the fact. And everyone knows how long can fantasy help us. Fantasy is cheater and so are the emotions.

One of the famous writer of English literature –dramatist and essayist George Bernard Shaw whose dramas are called as the drama of ideas has confidently said that ‘it is ideas that has made us to feel like man, otherwise we were beast’. It is the ideas of our great philosophers and thinkers not their emotions that have influenced and inspired the humanity. May it be Lord Christ, Mohd Sahab, Lord Budha and Mahatama Gandhi. Their ideas have guided the path of humanity to walk on the path of eternity. Their ideas have the lamp to  lighten the darkness prevalent in the society. Their ideas had been the eternal source of inspiration in all ups and downs of humanity and its advancement.

How can we forget Eddisons naughty ideas to hatch the eggs and fly the girl servant. How can we forget the Newton’s ideas in leisure on falling of the apples. Even the total physical disability of Stephen Hawkings can’t stop him thinking miraculously and continuing the development of human knowledge.

Are we still in the false pretension to over crying of emotions. As I think every educated person will be aware of the saying ‘where there is will there is way’. What’s that. Is that emotion or idea? Absolutely that is idea not emotion.

If anyone is drowning in front of your eyes , what would you like to do? Either to show emotions on the dying man or to think how to say the man. Someone’s house is on fire, what you would do? To shed tears on the burning house or think how to help. The answer will absolutely be ‘to think how to save the situation’.Can we feed up or fulfill the requirement of our own or family members only by showing emotions? Can we bring the dresses to put on only by showing emotions? No and never. We have to think and act accordingly. Only after that we can fulfill the needs of ours and family members.Was it possible to make india free only by showing emotions in front of the britishers? Was the planning and fighting of national leaders was in vain? No, to find the goal and to achieve success anywhere we need planning and execution with full devotions.

I conclude with famous saying that

Nothing is good or bad in the world, our thinking makes us feel so.

कोई अगडी या ऊची जाति का यह इसलिये उसमे प्रतिभा है ये कोई पैमाना नहीं है , अगर वास्तब में येसा होता तो संविधान निर्माण के समय सबसे योग्य डा. भीमराव आंबेडकर को ही क्यों माना जाता, येसे संविधान के निर्माण की जिम्मेदारी जो विविधताओ से भरे देश में , विकासोन्मुख हो , और हर वर्ग और हर जाति का सम्मान हो सके, |

दुःख तो तब होता है जब लोग यह कहते है कि अयोग्य व्यक्ति को जिम्मेंदारी का पद मिलता जिससे देश का भविष्य खराब होता है और दांव पर लगता है, इसमे मै कहना चाहूँगा कि आरक्षण तो आजादी के बाद की पहल है,,इसके पहले पूरी सत्ता तो इन्ही के हाथ में थी,,,इन्होने देश को अंग्रेजो के हाथ बेच दिया ,,,विलासिता में जीबन जिया ,,,,,समाज के बहुत बड़े हिस्से हो उपेक्षित रखा,,,उस समय इनके अंदर सात्विक बिचार नहीं आये,,,शासन करना अपना पैत्रिक अधिकार समझते थे,,,जिस समय पूरा योरोप विकास और क्रांति का बिगुल बजा रहा था उस समय ये अन्धविश्वास और विलासिता के मद में डूबे हुए थे,,,आज आरक्षण की मदद से जब वही उपेक्षित वर्ग विकास कर रहा और देश के विकाश में अतुलनीय योगदान दे रहा है,,,उन्हें बुरा लग रहा है|

मुझे जो समझ में आता है और जो कडुई हकीकत है,,,वह यह कि,,पहले इनके सामने कोई प्रतियोगिता नहीं थी,,यही राजा थे,,यही शासक थे,,,इन्हें हर पद और विलासिता वरासत में मिलती थी,,,पर आज प्रतियोगिता करना पड़ता है,,,उनसे कही जादा योग्य छोटी जाति का लड़का आगे निकल जाता है,,तो बात गले से नीचे नहीं उतरती. सहन नहीं होता.

आरक्षण के बावजूद आज भी किसी दफ्तर और कार्यालय में छोटी जाति की भागीदारी बहुत कम है,,,और उनकी कम संख्या के कारण उनके ऊपर बहुत दबाव होता है,,,ऊची जाति के तुलना में जादा ईमानदार और कर्तव्यनिष्ठ होते है,,,क्योकि उनके पास न तो कोई बड़े राजनेता और बड़े अधिकारी का साया रहता है और नौकरी जाने का दर बना रहता है,,क्योंकि संघर्ष करके नौकरी पाया और वही नौकरी उसके परिवार और बच्चो के भविष्य का आधार होता है,,उनके पास कोई खास पैत्रिक संपत्ति होती है|

मैंने अपने शिक्षण काल में खुद देखा है कि अगड़ी जाति के ज्यादातर लडके स्कूल में दादागिरी करते है,,कक्षा और विद्यालय और चौराहे पर मारपीट करते है ,,नेतागिरी करते है,,,यहाँ तक छोटी जाति के शिक्षक का अपमान करते है,,इसके वजह या तो उनका कोई चाचा ,,पापा या और कोई उस विद्यालय में मेनेजर ,  प्रधानाचार्य होता है,,,फिर उनके मार्क्स बढ़ जाते है,,परीक्षा में उनकी कापिया लिखी जाती है,,,

छोटी नौकरी तो उनके पांव पर रहती है,, बड़ी नौकरी में भी उनकी पैठ होती है,,कोई न कोई रिश्तेदार या राजनेता मिल जाता है,,,पहचान का,,,और एक अच्छा पद प्राप्त कर मौज करते है.

शायद आरक्षण के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने की वजह और भी हो सकती है कि देश में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ आवाज तेज हो रही है,,जिसमे बड़े अधिकारी और राजनेता जेल के अंदर जा रहे है और इनके चुने जाने के मौके कम हो रहे है,,मेह्नात  करने में कभी रूचि रही नहीं ,,,तो फिर इनको अपनी बादशाहत और एकाधिका छिनता दिख रहा है,,,दुःख होना लाज़मी है,,

दूसरी बात जो समझ में आती है वो ये है जिसको आज तक इन्होने अपने तलवे चाटते देखा है आज वही जो सामने कुर्सी लगा के बैठता तो निश्चित रूप से बुरा लग सकता है.

जहाँ तक कोई मुद्दा बनाने का सवाल हो,,,और किसी मुद्दे के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने का सवाल है मेरे हिसाब से इस दुनिया में सबसे आसान काम यही है ,,किसी व्यक्ति या मुद्दे की बुराई करना,,,क्योकि सविधान से विचार अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता मिली है,,,

आरक्षण एक अचूक दवा है जो गरीबी और पिछडेपन ,,,तथा जातिवादी रुपी गंभीर समस्या का एकमात्र इलाज कर सकती है.

हमारे संस्कृति के निर्माता जातिवादी जहर बोया और क्या वजह है कि वह खुद जातिवाद का विरोध करना शुरू कर दिए है,,,और संविधान को दोषी मानते है कि संविधान में छोटी जातियों को रियायते देकर जातिवाद को बढ़ावा दिया गया, जिसके कारण आज हमें हर जगह अपनी श्रेणी और जाति लिखनी पड़ती है|

अगर वो येसा कहते है तो उनकी यह स्वार्थपरता है और कुछ नहीं | अगर जाति वाद के खिलाफ है तो क्या वह छोटी जातियों के साथ रिश्ते बना सकते है,,,कभी नहीं |

आज मीडिया समाचार पत्रों में जिन महँ भ्रष्ट नेताओ और अधिकारियो का नाम आया वे शायद अगड़ी जातियों से ही है |

आरक्षण के खिलाफ आवाज उठाना एक सनक है,,जिसमे तुक्छ मानसिकता छुपी हुयी है| आरक्षण की पहल करने वाले जिन्होंने इसे अस्तित्व में लाया वे विद्वान थे और महान थे ,,युग श्रष्टा थे,,,चाहे वो वीपीसिंह या भीमराव आंबेडकर हो|

उन्हें आज हम प्रणाम करते है ,,,नमन करते है|

समाज और प्रशाशन की पराजय

आप बिकुल थी कहते है अनुराग सर, चेन्नई की यह हृदयविदारक घटना से रूह कांप गए, मानो कि शरीर से प्राण पखेरू कुछ समय के लिए यमराज दरबार भ्रमण करने चले गए, जिस गुरु को कभी भगवान से पहले पूजा जाता था यानी भगवान से बड़ा मन जाता था, उसे कक्षा में चाकू और छुरियों से मारा जाता है और हत्या की जाती है, ये आपकी बात को पूरी तरह साबित करता है कि यह उस टीचर की हत्या नहीं वरन पूरे समुदाय और समाज की हत्या है,,यही समाज और समाज के लोग ये अध्यापक को नैतिकता और ईमानदारी का पहरेदार बनाते है,,राष्ट्र के भविष्य नियंता और निर्माता समझते है,,, समाज का अन्य हिस्सा चोरी करे ,, हत्या करे,,,झूठ बोले,,,रिश्वत ले,,,पर टीचर ,,,,कभी नहीं,,,मजाक और डपट के साथ दूसरा व्यक्ति कहते चूकता नहीं,,आप टीचर हो,, पढाते हो,,क्या पढाते होगे बच्चे को|

शायद टीचर उसे ही अपना भाग्य और नियति समझ लेता है,,आत्मग्लानी को पी जाता है,,आत्मा सिसकती है पर जुबान बंद रहती है,,,क्यों,,पता नहीं|

मैंने देखा है कि एक टीचर को स्कूल और स्कूल के बाहर झूठे आरोपों में उलझा कर मुक़दमा चलाया गया,,मीडिया को मसाला मिला ,,तिल का ताड़ बनाया कर प्रसारित किया,,टीचर की व्यक्तिगत,,पारिवारिक और सामाजिक जीवन का बाट लग गया,, आर्थिक स्थिति चूर चूर हो गयी,, उसके अपने भी उससे घृणा करने लगे,,,दूसरे लोगों की तो बात छोड़ दीजिए,,खिल्ली उड़ाते हुए बोलते है,,’देखो यही टीचर था जिसने वह बुरा काम किया था,,बेचारा टीचर सर झुकाए आगे निकल जाता है,, अपमान और आभाव की अग्नि में जलता हुआ,,कभी तो खुद को अकेले या खभी परिवार के साथ मौत के हवाले हो जाता है,,या फिर पागल हो जाता है,,,उधर बीस साल बाद मुकदमे का नतीजा क्या निकालता है,,,टीचर को निर्दोष है,, उसे बाइज्जत बारी किया जाता है,,,तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी होती है,, टीचर की दुनिया तबाह हो चुकी होती है,,,लोगों के पास बचाता क्या है सिर्फ खोखली सहानुभूति ,,वह भी किसी काम की नहीं,,,येसा होता है समाज,,एसे होते है लोग,,,

और दूसरी चीज यह कि अगर कोई राजनीतिक हत्या या घपला या घोटाला होता तो राजनीती और प्रशासन इसे खूब चर्चित बनाता और भयंकर राजनीतिक लाभ लेने का प्रयास करता ,,,और अगर किसी टीचर ने किसी बच्चे को थप्पड़ मर दिया होता फिर देखते मीडिया और प्रशाशन का कार्य कौशल ,,,पर येसे में कोई घर के बहार निकलना ही नहीं चाहता ,,सबको सांप सूंघ गया है,,

वैसे भी वर्त्तमान शिक्षा प्रणाली अतिशय उदारवादी और लचीली है,, जहाँ बच्चो को अधिकतम स्वतंत्रता देने की बाट की जाती है,,,स्वक्षन्द और उन्मुक्त वातावरण| माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भी बार बार इस बात बार बल दिया की,,,शारीरिक या मानसिक दंड न्यायाचित नहीं है,,,पर समझ में नहीं आता कि एक टीचर की खुले आम नृशंश हत्या के बाद ये क्या कहना चाहेगे,,,कहेंगे भी क्या बस लीपापोती के आलावा|

आखिर शब्दों को मरोडने माहिर जो हैं|

इस वाकिया का टीचर समुदाय पर तो  बहुत ही बुरा प्रभाव पड़ेगा,,,टीचर बच्चो से डर कर रहेगा,,यानी डरा डरा और सहमा सहमा,,तो फिर यह जग जाहिर की मन में दर या संशय बुधिमार्ग को बाधित कर देता है,,और आत्म विश्वास की कमी हो जाती है,, इस स्थिति में क्या अध्यन अध्यापन सुचारू रूप से चल पायेगा ,,कभी नहीं,,टीचर का भयमुक्त और स्वंतंत्र रहना अति आवश्यक है| निश्चित रूप से साक्षरता दर तो देश की सुधरेगी पर गुणवत्ता का आभाव होगा,,और समाज अव्यस्थित और अनियंत्रित रहेगा,,,नतीजतन सामाजिक बुरायियोंं और भ्रष्टाचार का बोलबाला होगा |

चूकि विद्यार्थी समुदाय एक नाजुक उम्र से गुजरता है तो निश्चित रूप से येसी घटनाओ के फिर होने की सम्भावनाये बलवती होंगी,,,क्योकि विद्यार्थी आवेश और ऊर्जा का प्रतीक होता है,,जहाँ उसके हर निर्णय आवेगातम होते है,,,

टीचर की गिरती सामाजिक स्थिति का अंदाज मुझे उस समय लगा जब मैं हाल ही में हीरो होंडा बाईक खरीदी और नंबर डालने के साथ बड़ी खुसी मन से बीच में लिखवा दिए ‘शिक्षक’ पर हुआ यूं कि जो भी देखता कहता कि आपको यह नहीं लिखवाना चाहिए था,,,यह एक या दो लोगों के द्वारा नहीं वरन लगभग पन्द्रह लोगों के द्वारा कहा गया,,तो मुझे पता चला ,,,कि आज का अध्यापक गुरुदेव नहीं वरन मास्टरजी बन गया,,जो अत्यंत पिछड़े पन का प्रतीक है,,,|

उस समय तो हद हो गयी जब एक हमारे जन पहचान के व्यक्ति अपनी बहा की शादी की चर्चा चला रहे थे तो उनके सामने बहुत सरे विकल्प रखे गए,,,डॉक्टर,,इंजीनियर,,,क्लेर्क ,,,पुलिस,,,फोर्स और अध्यापक,,,शायद आपको थोड़ी देर के लिए अविश्वसनीय लगे सुनकर कि उन्होंने क्या बोला,, जैसे ही अध्यापक का विकल्प उनके सामने आया और बोले पड़े ‘’मै अध्याप के साथ तो अपनी बहन का रिश्ता कतई नहीं करूँगा’’| इससे आप खुद अंदाजा लगा सकते है कि उनके इस कथन की पीछे क्या कारण हो सकता है,,,जो मुझे समझ में आता है,,कि अध्यापक के पास ऊपरी कमाई नहीं होती|

कुछ भी हो यह वाकिया बहुत ही शर्मनाक और निंदनीय है,,टीचर की नहीं समाज की हर है,,टीचर तो अपना फर्ज अदा करते हुए शहादत को प्राप्त हुआ पर समाज और प्रशासन ने टीचर के ऊपर पाबंदियां लगा के रखी ,,शायद उसी कि परिणति हुयी है इस रूप में,,,निश्चित रूप से समाज पराजित हुआ,,,हर गया,,,क्योकि लाख कोशिश कर ले समाज और समाज के लोग पर उनके ऊपर लगा ये कीचड यह धब्बा मिटने वाली नहीं है|

दह्शत और खौफदह्शत और खौफ

ये अलार्म भी बड़ी समय की पक्की होती है , ५.३० हुआ कि अपनी राग अलापने लगती है, पर क्या करे अलार्म तो लगाना ही पड़ता है, नहीं तो ८.०० बजे का स्कूल, देर हो जायेगे और प्रिंसिपल की सुबह – सुबह लेक्चर सुनना पड़ेगा| प्रिंसिपल की तो छोडिये , ये स्टाफ वाले पता नहीं क्या भनभनाने और बुदबुदाने लगते है कि ‘देखो यही स्टाफ क्वार्टर में रहता है फिर भी देर से आ रहा है, इतना ही नहीं , प्रार्थना में खड़े भारत के नौनिहाल भी घूर घूर के देखते है , यूं लगता है कि जैसे हर कदम के बीच का फासला नाप रहे हो ‘ ये देखो छोटे कदम , ये बड़े कदम, क्या चलने की स्टाईल है ,आज नया शूज पहन के आया है , कोई कहता है|

पर क्या आज विद्यालय १० बजे का है , भगवन शुक्रिया, अभी थोडा और सो लेता हूँ, फिर रजाई के अंदर सिमट गया , और जैसे ही नीद लगाने को थी कि फोन की घंटी बजी| लगभग ७.३० बजे थे , कौन शुभ्चिंतक ब्रम्ह मुहूर्त में याद किया , देखता हूँ| घर का फोन , अब कैसे न रिसीव करता , आधी नीद में बोला,’ हेलो’

उधर से तुरंत जबाब आया जैसे कि पहले से सवालों का पिटारा तैयार करके रखा गया हो, ‘तुम ठीक तो हो ?’’

‘हाँ मै ठीक हूँ, क्यों क्या हुआ?’ मैंने थोड़ी उतुसुकता में पूछा|

फिर क्या मेरी बाट लगानी शुरू हो गयी| मै कुछ बोलना चाहता पर कहाँ, बोलने का मौका मिलने वाला था.|

‘तुम्हे कुछ होश रहता है , तुम्हे इतनी बार फोन किया रात में, और तुम फोन क्यों नहीं उठाया , हम लोग रात फर सो नहीं पाए , घर के बाहर बैठे रहे , पूरा गाँव और पूरा परिवार घर के बाहर बैठा रहा, तुमको फोन पर फोन लगाये जा रहे है पर तुम हो कि फोन उठाते नहीं, फिर फोन देखने के लिए रखा है जब रिसीव नहीं करना है तो फोन फ़ेंक दो किसी कूड़े में और रहो बिना फोन के ‘

‘पर ‘ मैंने बात काटकर कुछ पूछने का प्रयास किया पर कोई फायदा नहीं|

उधर से नानस्टाप डट फटकार और इधर मै बेबश और लाचार|

मै तो स्कूल दस बजे होने का जश्न मना रहा था कि ये सुबह कि ये नौबत और दमदार लताड़ , और मै नहीं समझ पा रहा कि ‘फोन न उठाने कि इतनी बड़ी सजा दी जा रही है’ जरूर कुछ बात है|

और फिर क्या उधर से धीरे –धीरे आग के गोले और शोले जो अभी तो भड़क और धधक रहे थे वो ध्रुव प्रदेश के ठन्डे चादर बन गए और वास्प बनकर बरसाने लगे, सिसकी आने लगी, मेरा मन भी सिहराने लगा ‘ये भगवन ! घर पे कही कोई अनहोनी तो नहीं हो गया, पर अभी शाम को मैंने फोन किया था , सब कुछ ठीक ठाक था , घर में कोई बीमार भी नहीं था, और गांव में कुछ किसी के होने से इतना रोना और डट फटकार , नहीं होगा , कही रिश्तेदारी में कुछ तो नहीं हो गया|

उधर से सिसकी और इधर मन में सारी बाते गूथ रही है|

हिम्मत भी नहीं पड़ रही कि क्या हुआ | आखिर कौन चाहेगा कि सुबह सुबह कुछ अनहोनी और अप्सगुन खबर मिले,

पर मै उसे नकार भी नहीं सकता था| मन में शांति भी नहीं मिलेगी , दिल कांपने लगा, रूह सिहरने लगा, धड़कने तेज हो गयी, आंख नम हो गयी , शरीर बेजान सा हो गया , हाथ पाव सुन्न हो गए , येसा लगा कि फोन हाथ से टपक जायेगा|

फिर सिसकियों के बीच से आवाज आयी और मै बिलकुल ध्यानमग्न हो गया ,पहली बार जिंदगी में कुछ इतना गौर से सुना, शायद बडो की बात इतना ध्यान से सुनता तो आज बड़ों की तरह बड़ा बन जाता, और क्लास में गुरूजी की बात ध्यान से सुनता तो ये दिन न देखने पड़ते, जा आज कल देखने पड़ रहे है,

‘मालूम है कल रात के तीन बजे खबर मिली कि धरती फटने वाली है, चूंकि सर्वबिनाश की २०१२ में चर्चा पहले से चली आ रही थी, खबर मिलते ही सभी  गाँव के लोग शोर मचाते और घर पड़ोस को उठाते घर के बाहर आ गए, और खबर थी कि ठीक ४-२० पर धरती फटने वाली है.,जब पूछा गया कि आपको कैसे पता चला, तो सबने बताना शुरू किया कि ‘ मुझे मुंबई से फोन आया, मुझे दुबई से फोन आया, मुझे देल्ही से फोन आया.’| और तब से मैंने तुमको सैकडो बार फोन लगाया पर तुम उठाये नहीं, तो येसे लगा कि जिस वाहन भूकंप तबाही मचा चूका हो|’

फिर जैसे शरीर से निकली हुई आत्मा आधी दूरी से पुनः लौट आयी हो, और जान में जान आ गयी हो|

मैंने गहरी साँस लेते हुआ बोला’ ‘नहीं माँ ,येसी कोई बात नहीं है , यहाँ पर कुछ भी नहीं हुआ है, और यह केवल अफवाह थी लोगो के अंदर दह्शत फैलाने कि और कुछ नहीं|’

फिर घड़ी कि तरफ निगाह गयी ,’ अरे ये क्या,९.३० हो गया , अभी तक ब्रुश नहीं किया , ठीक है माँ, मुझे स्कूल जाना है, लेट हो जाऊँगा, हाँ लेकिन चिंता मत करना , मै बिलकुल ठीक हू, अपना ख्याल रखना, और भैया को लेकर डॉक्टर के पास चली जाना. अभी फोन रखता हू माँ,, नमस्ते|

पर एक बात मेरे दिमाग में गूजती रही कि ये अफवाह कौन फैलाया और क्यों फिलाया| पर एक बात तो तय है कि जिस किसी का भी हात इसके पीछे था , उसकी मानसिकता देश के प्रति ठीक नहीं है|

क्या हासिल करना चाहता था लोगों में दह्शत और खौफ का बीज डालकर| ये किसी आतंकवादी से कम नहीं है|

“Present education system has been able to create successfull and cultured citizen in the country

The people may say that going in the school, attending coaching centers or getting tutor at home is education. Education is something which makes us man out of animal. We are entitled to be called civilized and developed race of the planet. We not only get education in the so called formal institutions and the hub of educational centers but the life moving around ourselves too are the richest source of education. The raw mind gets ripened out of education that enables us to live the over laden life smoothly and successfully. It’s merely education that has resulted human race into present age of machine and technology from primitive nomadic state.

But the big question whether present education system has really created cultured and successful citizen poses a big challenge in front of us. We have to analyze in the mirror of the education system of our ancestors and forefathers. If we agree with the topic we have to concede that the conventional education has no power create successful citizen. I favor the idea that every education system is the result of the time and life in it. From the early stage of human life , there has been different mode of education, and in the process of development it went on getting accustomed with the changed scenario. Every time there has been people who remained stick to the bygone habits and the people hugging the changes. Its really noticeable that ‘ change is the law of nature, there is no beauty without change’. We could not have hoped the use of computer and mobile, aeroplanes and sophisticated machines from the primitive uncivilized men, but we must agree that what we are today is the result of our forefathers inventions and discoveries. Today searching of the newer planet seems sensational but in those days , the invention of fire, wheel and pots were not less sensational. They have been the backbone of all today’s development. What newer things we are developing today will become of secondary importance after centuries ahead. The invention of fire would have really dazzled the nomadic people. They would have got burning spot to their bodies but later they utilized the same for their advancement in sphere of human life like making the sharp weapon for hunting, to save them from wild beasts, to cook the food etc.

The invention of the wheel lessened the burden of the back of the man. The animals were being used to carry the goods from one place to another. The society started assuming form. And the race of development quickened. The fire and the wheel is the reason why we are making synthetic materials today.

How can we say that only the present generation citizens are to be called successful?  Was chanakya and Chandra gupta no successful? Was ashoka , the great a failure? Was napoleon and Alexander, the great only the puppet? Was mihirsen, aryabhatta, sushrut of no importance.

Its foolish to say that only present generation education system has potential to inculcate the cultural values.

Think about Mahatam Budha and Mahabira Swami, they taught the morals to the world.

There is only one thing to say in this regard that every education system has limitation of the age and circumstances , but it has its importance at least in the associated era. It may be replaced by the newer ideas and concepts, but it can never lose its worth.

Universal brotherhood is more valuable than patriotism

Against the motion

Honorable judges, jury members, teachers and my dear friends, today I am here to express my views against the most debated topic ‘universal brotherhood is more valuable than patriotism.

It’s not merely for speaking sake but in reality I do firmly believe and support my side and I feel really very sorry how my worthy opponent stands in favor to glorify the importance of universal brotherhood. As I think it’s a nominal false pretention to protect the side somehow. If it’s not like that, then can I get an answer?, ‘ If there is fire in the village and his/her house too is on ablaze, whose house will he save first’ as I believe that the answer will be ‘ own house’. Another situation I would like put in front of him/her, if the team won any trophy, and his/her brother was one of the team member, whether he/she will celebrate the victory of team of her brother, certainly the victory of her brother will be more important than the victory of the team.

Under the light of these references I merely intend to emphasize that in theory whatever may be, but in practical life, an individual is above all sorts of universal convictions and false promises.

Just think, how can a hungry man fulfill the stomach of another one? How can a man donate the needy persons lavishly if his own bank account goes nil. I would like to entreat my worthy opponent to go and ask a beggar on the footpath ‘what does universalism mean?, for him two times meal is more important than any concept or ideology. There is another big hindrance in the path of universal brotherhood. Can a man fiercely entangled in the personal problems solve others problems? I say never. I firmly contradict the idea of creating the beautiful platform of universal brotherhood where every human being will be treated equally like brothers. I do believe it’s merely mirage in the deserts never going to be fulfilled. I think patriotism is not merely a reverence to the nation but it’s religion, it’s culture and moreover it’s above all goals of livings.

My worthy opponent claims to bring equality and fraternity in human race through universal approach and ideology while he/himself might be well aware of the fact that it’s never possible as ‘difference lies in the very nature of man’. There is large scale differences among human race in color, climate, lifestyle, belief, caste and creed. These reasons had been the factors of conflict between different communities. The European countries captured the other countries and tortured brutally their original people and squeezed its natural resources. They consider themselves more civilized species of earth. In that case it’s nightmare to think about universal brotherhood.

It’s not the first time in human history to think about universalism. The great souls like Lord Christ in Europe, jarthustra in West Asia, Confusiaus in China and Gautam Budh , Mahabir Swami in South Asia propagated the idea of love to human beings but today there sermons and preachings are lied buried in the books or in the temples only. Communal riots. Long list of conversion, by avarice, trick or by force. They cry the slogan of one god and all sons, but the same has bifurcated and are fanatic and orthodox of their own belief. Even in the modern world of science and technology the superstitions prevails strongly.

 India too had extended hands of brotherhood with China in the year 1962 with slogan ‘Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai’ but in return how China responded, we all know very well, the attack on the poorly equipped souldiers in the regime of Pt Neharu. We also know what Atal Bihari Bajpai got in return after his visit to Pakistan in 1999, the Kargil War.

It’s not problem of India or its neighbouring nations, there is hardly any country which is not having the boundary issues.  The long running conflict between Isarael with philistine is widely known. Every country has some lasting challenges in its domain like naxalism, moaist, minority , racism, regionalism, language and many more internal issues. As long as these issues are not solved our effort to universal brotherhood will be in vain.

I grieve at the idea of universal brotherhood when I see the strong hold and dominance of a few so called developed countries over the world organizations like UNO, IMF, UNICEF,UNESCO and many more. Although these organizations are constituted with notion to benefit all human beings but they are headed and governed by the powerful developed countries like USA, Britain and others. The world’s second highly populated country India could not secure a permanent seat at UNO till now. The dictatorship of the lead nations we have seen everywhere. For their own benefit, they twist the rules and execute accordingly. They have their covetous eves over oil store in west Asian countries, and to tighten the hold on these countries, either they are attacking by themselves on false accusations or promoting internal conflicts to weaken them. Today almost all the developed countries devise to have strong hold over world economy, they have the hawk eye for being the leader in the world market by hook or by crook. The developing countries have to be sufferer in it.

If there is equality all around the world then I surprise to say why are there so many disparities  among currencies of different nations like dollar, rupee, euro, yuan, dinar and so on. The attack over Indians in major countries like Australia and America and step motherly temperament of so called developed countries exemplify their hidden notions.

       Another thing that is striking my mind is that if one stabs another man right in the belly through the dagger and later says that, let’s forget our enmity and be noble friends, can the wounded fellow extend the hand in friendship?,  I say ‘never’.  Can Japaneese forget the Hiroshima and Nagashaki event, Can the world’s notorious dictators like Hitler , Napolean and Mousolini and Bismarked be excused, I say ‘No’. Can Russia ever be friend of America, can World forget what Germans did in world war. Or can Germans ever forget what injustice so called countries in League of Nations did. Though the wars are over today, but the pots are boiling everywhere.

 I mean to say ‘It’s act of not any single country but cooperation of every nation, and that is as I believe never practicable.

       Moreover, If patriotism values nothing then What is use of celebrating independence day and republic day with pomp and show. Throw away the false crying over the slogans of JAY HIND, DILLI CHALO, TUM MUJHE KHOON DO MAI TUJHE AAZADI DOONGA so and so. Forget Bhagat Singh , Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose.

       In this regard I think to quote the lines of famous American poet Mark Twain that ‘East is East and west is west, and never twain can meet together.’
