स्वस्थ हो,  सुन्दर हो,  सर्वश्रेष्ठ हो,
संपूर्ण बिश्वास और गर्व से,
तुम ग़लतफ़हमी ही पालो !
तुम बेवजह खुश होने की आदत डालो


दुनिया में सब झाम झमेला है,
मन मस्तिष्क का पूरा खेला है;
दो पल दुनिया साथ दिखी,
अगले पल आदमी अकेला है;
अनावश्यक उलझन, मत आफत पालो!
तुम बेवजह खुश होने की आदत डालो!

जश्न मनाओ, नाचो गाओ ऐसे,
जैसे कि तुम शहजादा हो;
जियो शान से, स्वाभिमान से ऐसे,
जैसे कि तुम महाराजा हो;
अंतर्मन में शहंशाही बादशाहत डालो!
तुम बेवजह खुश होने की आदत डालो!

दीन हीन बन रोना नही,
जीवन अमूल्य है, इसे खोना नही;
पल छिन जी भरकर जियो,
जीवन में जहर बोना नही;
कमजोरियों में ताकत डालो!
तुम बेवजह खुश होने की आदत डालो!

विपत्ति में ही वीरता की, पहचान होती है!

सरपट राहों के सूरमा बन,
क्यूँ दम्भ इतना दिखाते हो?
सुविधापूर्ण सफ़लता पाकर,
क्यूँ स्वयं वीर बन जाते हो?

चुनौतियाँ तो बहादुरों की जान होती है!
विपत्ति में ही वीरता की, पहचान होती है!

अति मुश्किल हालातों में भी,
कभी नहीं घबराता है;
विकट विकराल संकट को भी,
सहज पार कर जाता है;
समस्याएं तो शूरवीरों की शान होती हैं!
विपत्ति में ही वीरता की, पहचान होती है!

जीवन है तो हार जीत भी है,
दुख सुख का सतत संगीत भी है ;
भीषण विघ्न यदि कंटक पथ है,
खुशियो का उत्सवगीत भी है;

गिरना, संभलना, उठना, चलना
जीवट का जीवनगान होती है!
विपत्ति में ही वीरता की, पहचान होती है!
